About Me

Hi, I’m Tim, though many know me as Krash — a visual artist with a passion for turning sound into striking visuals. My work lives at the intersection of music and design, where beats inspire bold imagery and rhythms translate into captivating artwork.

By day, I work as a graphic designer, print technician, and bookbinder at a local publishing company, honing my skills in design and craftsmanship. By night, I channel my creativity into my true passion: crafting visual art inspired by music. With over 15 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with a wide range of brands, artists, DJs, bands, and record labels.

My portfolio spans genres like Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Hip-Hop, and Dub, each piece crafted to resonate with the unique energy of the music. Whether it’s an album cover, event flyer, or bespoke art piece, I specialize in creating visuals that connect deeply with the vibe of the sound.

+ What inspires me?

I’m endlessly inspired by typography, lettering, graffiti art, futurism, and brutalism, and I love blending these elements into my work. My creative process often starts with listening to a track, letting the music guide me as I transform its essence into a visual story.
I believe every design has the potential to be both innovative and immersive, and I aim to push boundaries with each project.

+ What's the meaning of the logo?

The logo features three components: an inverted A (a symbol from predicate calculus representing the universal quantifier, signifying "for all"), the letter O (The edges inspired by Crass logo) , and the numeral 1. This design encapsulates the phrase "one for all," which aligns perfectly with my approach to graphic design, as I do not limit myself to a single genre or style, showcasing my ability to adapt and innovate.

+ Let’s collaborate!

When you work with me, you get more than just designs — you get a creative partner who loves brainstorming and bringing fresh ideas to life. I’m always up for exploring new concepts and making something truly unique and impactful.
Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to check out my work and reach out if you’re interested in collaborating. Let’s create something amazing together.

Long story short

From an early age, I was captivated by the magic of music. I found it impossible to stay still when I heard it, which led my parents to enroll me in a competitive Ballroom and Latin dance school. At the age of 7, I successfully gained admission to the Theatrical Lyceum, a school known for its challenging selection process. Unlike typical educational institutions, this one required a broad range of talents to be accepted, including musical aptitude, dance proficiency, artistic skills, and a keen visual memory. This achievement marked a significant milestone in my life. In addition to the standard curriculum, we also engaged in subjects like acting, choreography, music theory, and theatrical speech, which laid the groundwork for my artistic development. By the time I turned 10, I had fallen in love with Hip-Hop culture, diving into B-Boying and Graffiti, which ignited my passion for lettering. I often found myself sketching instead of paying attention in class.

In 2004, when I was 15, I moved to Greece, settling in a coastal town where I got my first computer. A friend introduced me to programs like Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, and FL Studio 4, which marked the beginning of my journey into music production. A year or so later, I discovered a magazine called “Soundmaker,” which held a nationwide contest for music producers, offering scholarships for audio engineering studies to the winners. I submitted my raw, unpolished tracks and, two months later, received a call from the principal informing me that I had secured a scholarship, along with 19 other participants. As I pursued my studies, I frequently attended parties, particularly after I discovered Dubstep. It was an exciting time, marking the height of the genre's popularity. I forged connections with local musicians and began my adventure as a Dubstep producer.

After completing my studies, I returned to my small town due to financial constraints, but I continued to produce music. With the rise of Facebook, I connected with other producers, including Tek-System from the UK, Barcode from Hawaii, and Shh!Raids from the USA, and we formed a collective called “RedLine Media.” We launched a website featuring an e-Radio plugin to practice our DJing skills. During this time, I began designing logos and artwork for our crew, utilizing the skills I had developed in Photoshop and Flash while creating posters for school events. As time passed, some of my crew members signed with labels, and I was fortunate enough to create their artwork. This led to friend requests from label owners seeking my design services. Initially, all my work was voluntary, but it significantly enhanced my skills and exposure, attracting clients who still seek my services today. It was a true blessing to work from home, on my own schedule, and earn money doing what I loved.

Over the years, I transitioned into a paid designer, collaborating with various labels and artists, continually pushing my skills further. Now, 15 years later, I am still thriving and constantly learning new things.
